GEDNEY HILL PARISH COUNCIL
I hereby give you notice that the Ordinary Parish Council Meeting of the above-named Parish Council will be held at Gedney Hill Parish Council Pavillion, (behind the school, 33 North Road) PE12 0NL at 6.30pm on Monday 6th July 2026.
All members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the Meeting as set out hereunder.
Your attendance is also required for the 15 minute Public Forum, this will take place at the start of the meeting and is open for the Public to ask questions or make statements.

4. To receive any declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 and consideration of any requests for dispensation
5. Notes of the last meeting held on the 18th May 2026 to be approved as the minutes
6. Clerk’s report on matters outstanding
7. Financial Matters
A) Accept the financial report to 30th June 2026
B) Councillors considered the list, previously circulated and have resolved to accept the following payments: ADS Pavilion Fire Door (final payment) £2,036.97 and Insurance Premium £2,540.52 a full list of payments will be included in the draft minutes
8. Planning matters
A) The following planning applications have been received H07-0192-26 – 23 Lincolns Avenue to render the external of the property and H07-0477-26 – Hillgate Farm Station Road to change the use of agricultural land for holiday lets (part retrospective) and considered with no comments made
B) To receive the planning decisions from the District Council H07-0329-26 – The Limes 55 Station Road to change the use of an agricultural building into a dwelling
9. Correspondence:
Email from a parishioner regarding a proposal to wild flower seed the land where the bus stop was situated on Highstock Lane
SHDC email regarding the possible options to reduce the buildup of waste at the bins located at 22 Hillgate
10. To receive reports from representatives on outside bodies
11. Cemetery matters
12. Update on the proposed works by Anglian Water on North Road following the presentation by Anglian Water on 29th June 2026
13. Highways – Consider support from the Parish Council and County Council for a submission to LCC Highways to reduce the speed limit on West Drove North
14. Approve the revised and updated Data Breach Policy, Data Protection Policy, Environmental Policy Statement, General Privacy Notice, Health and Safety Policy, records Retention Policy, Risk Assessment Policy, Social Media Policy and Subject Access Request Procedure which has been previously circulated
15. Approve the updated Asset Register which has been previously circulated
16. Approve the Santa Sleigh event to take place on 5th December 2026
17. Neighbourhood Watch
18. Consider the installation of village gates at the four entrances to the village
19. To receive items of concern & matters to be included on the next meeting agenda
20. Date of next meeting – Monday 7th September 2026 at 6.30pm and will be held at Gedney Hill Parish Council Pavillion, (behind the school, 33 North Road) PE12 0NL
21. To resolve on whether the Council will move into closed session to consider the following one confidential and legal matter in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960.
22. To discuss the GHPC Lease
